Vignette * Fall Horrors

Edward was having some difficulty with the concept that people actually cooked with pumpkin.

"How can you make something with a pumpkin?"

I pulled out some canned pumpkin to show him, but the method did not help.

"What?!?" Edward was horrified. "You smashed a pumpkin? How can you be so cruel! Pumpkins are plants!"

*Sigh* I guess Edward's herbivorous days are over.

    Way to speak up for the voiceless, Edward. I think his heart's in the right place. :)
    But, all cuteness aside, if nobody smashed the pumpkins, might not the world stop going round? Edward may someday have to reconcile his pumpkin sympathies with the bare necessities...sigh.
